The main bridge spans a total length of 6.15 kilometers and has a maximum water depth of approximately 40 meters. It has 41 spans in 7 joints, each span is 150 meters long. It consists of steel trusses and concrete bridge decks.

Boyoun successfully provided 27 sets of segmental box girders for the project in 2019 and dispatched 3 engineers to provide on-site technical guidance to ensure the overall construction progress.

The completion of the bridge will mark the end of thousands of years of ferry travel between the 21 districts in southern Bangladesh and the capital Dhaka, benefiting over half of the country's population.

The Padma Bridge in Bangladesh opens to traffic on June 25, 2022. It is an honor for Boyoun to build a bridge in an exotic country spanning 2,500 kilometers. Boyoun is always dedicated to the "Belt and Road" and the growth of the world infrastructure industry.
