Jitong Railway Duolun River Bridge Project

Description

On October 12th, the concrete pouring of the mid-span closure segment, measuring 40+4X64+40m, of the 337.75-meter-long continuous rigid-frame beam was successfully completed on the Duolun River Grand Bridge section of the Jitong Railway electrification renovation project by China Railway Electrification Bureau. This is the largest span continuous beam among all the electrification renovation projects on the Jitong Railway. The successful closure of the Duolun River Grand Bridge provides a strong foundation for the successful completion of the entire Jitong Railway electrification renovation project.

Boyoun provided the main pier column formwork, 7 sets of main pier construction brackets, and 5 sets of suspended continuous beam construction cantilever form travelers for the Doulun river extra large bridge. Over the past year, we have overcome numerous technical challenges through innovation, optimized and improved our production processes, rigorously upheld our quality standards, and navigated external difficulties to ensure prompt and successful construction and harmonization of the Doulun river extra large bridge columns and continuous beam segments. Features of the Cantilever Form Traveler

1. A standardized system design with high universality and strong replaceability lays the foundation for subsequent allocation and turnover to other projects.

2. The laser cutting machine has high processing accuracy for quick on-site assembly and reduces construction time.

3. Equipped with a fully enclosed protection system, it ensures the safety of construction workers and passing vehicles and pedestrians. The facade is made of modular galvanized steel wire mesh panels that are easy to install and durable.

4. The beam has both up and down ladders and side maintenance platforms. During the suspended pouring construction, the personnel can walk alongside the cantilever forming traveler  to ensure safety and improve work efficiency.
