Recently, with the completion of the pouring of the last batch of concrete, the Pak Lay Hydropower Station Mekong River Bridge, constructed by Sinohydro Bureau 15 Co., Ltd., successfully closed. This bridge is the first long-span continuous rigid frame bridge in central Laos and the one with the largest single span over the Mekong River in Laos, marking a breakthrough progress in the project construction and laying a solid foundation for the full opening of the bridge to traffic.
Located in the middle reaches of the Mekong River in Laos, the Pak Lay Hydropower Station Mekong River Bridge has a total length of 567 meters. It is not only the first long-span continuous rigid frame bridge in central Laos but also the bridge with the largest single span over the Mekong River in Laos. The main bridge adopts a 88+2x160+103+45 m continuous rigid frame structure, constructed by the cantilever casting method with Boyoun form travelers.

During the construction of the bridge, officials from the Lao Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Xaignabouli Province, and Pak Lay County Government inspected the project many times and spoke highly of the professional quality of Chinese constructors, stating that "the Pak Lay Bridge is not just a project, but a vivid practice of the concept of the China-Laos Community with a Shared Future, and will become a bond connecting the hearts of the people of the two countries."
As a key node project of the China-Laos Economic Corridor, the company attaches great importance to it. It has dispatched professional engineers to supervise the entire process in an all-round way and provided on-site guidance for key links such as the assembly of form travelers to ensure the safe and smooth construction of the project. Boyoun's high-quality products and excellent services have been unanimously recognized and praised by the project, and it has been awarded the title of "Quality supplier of road and bridgeconstruction equipment".
After completion, the bridge will fill the gap of no large bridges in central Laos, directly connecting the east and west banks of Vientiane Province and Xaignabouli Province. It will shorten the original ferry crossing time from 40 minutes to 5 minutes, benefiting 50,000 people in the surrounding areas.
From the Padma Bridge in Bangladesh to the Mekong River in Laos, Boyoun has always followed the global journey of China's infrastructure iron army. When the "Made in China" steel arms hold up thousands of bridges and roads, what we practice is not just the travel of equipment, but the three-dimensional export of Chinese technical standards, service concepts, and the warmth of friendship.
