Description

The Weng'an-machangping Railway North-South Extension Line Package 8 is located in Weng'an County, Guizhou Province. Currently, Boyoun form travelers have served the construction of 7 continuous beams of 6 major bridges in this project, including Lannisi Mega Bridge (two continuous beams), Weng'an River Bridge, Dazhuyuan Mega Bridge, Matoushan Bridge, Jiangjiehe Town Mega Bridge, and the Bridge Crossing S205 Provincial Highway.  

The Weng'an River Bridge has a total length of 349.6 meter and is a key and difficult control bridge project of Weng'an-machangping Railway Package 8, The main bridge is a prestressed concrete continuous rigid frame with a span of (90+168+90)m, constructed by Boyoun's form traveler cantilever casting.  

As the bridge is located in a deep V-shaped canyon with pier heights exceeding 100 meters,the rhombic frame is integrally strengthened to achieve greater strength and stability in response to the strong wind environment.

Anti-tension suspension bar are set at the centerline of the middle frame and anchored with the beam body to ensure the overall stability of the rhombic frame.  

The form traveler suspension system all uses 25*180mm slings, and the guide beam suspension bar adoptΦ40 PT bar with double nuts to ensure the safety of the form traveler construction.

Considering that the flange is extremely short at only 0.5m, lacking stress suspension points, the strengthened middle frame is designed to bear the concrete pouring load.  

The Bridge Crossing S205 Provincial Highway has a (40+64+40)m continuous beam with a total length of 145.3m. To reduce the product weight, both parties rigorously reviewed the design and calculation documents. Under the precondition of safety assurance, the forward slings also acts as the backward slings, thereby reducing slings usage.

The Matoushan Bridge has a (64.8+64.8)m T-frame continuous beam with a total length of 131m.

The beam body is of single-box single-cell, variable height, and variable cross-section structure, constructed by form traveler cantilever casting.  

The construction of the Weng'an-machangping Railway North-South Extension Line is an important component of the Guizhou Railway Network, which is of great significance in enhancing the overall layout of the Guizhou Province's railway network. Boyoun will continue to work together with the project personnel to achieve the full-line connection of the project as soon as possible, contributing to the economic development of Guizhou.
