Description

The Chang'an Road No.1 Overpass, part of the Sanming Chang'an Road Overpass crossing the Yingtan-Xiamen Railway, is located at the Xiamen-end throat area of Sanyuan District Station. The overpass is primarily designed to carry Chang'an Road over the Yingtan-Xiamen Railway. It features a left-right split design with a total of 16 spans, a total bridge width of 32 meters, and a total bridge deck area of approximately 10,752 square meters. The left bridge has a total length of 333.886 meters, while the right bridge measures 335.65 meters in length. The main bridge structure adopts a three-span variable-section prestressed concrete continuous box girder.

The main bridge is a (50+80+50) meter continuous girder, with the main span constructed using the form traveler cantilever method and the side spans constructed using the full support method.

In the cantilever casting construction of the bridge, form traveler construction is the core process. The stability and safety of the form traveler traveling operation directly affect the bridge structural quality and the safety of construction personnel.

On May 24, with the smooth operation of hydraulic equipment, the Sanming Chang'an Road Overpass Project successfully completed its first form traveler traveling operation of 2026. The tens-of-ton construction form traveler, powered by the hydraulic system, smoothly advanced 3.5 meters forward. After 200 minutes of refined and standardized operation, the form traveler was precisely positioned at "zero deviation" and achieved full accuracy without any safety anomalies, successfully completing this high-risk critical node task.

The successful completion of this milestone marks the project's official entry into the continuous girder construction phase of the main bridge structure, laying a solid foundation for the project to be completed on schedule with high quality.

Upon completion, the project will effectively break the traffic bottleneck of Chang'an Road crossing the railway, thoroughly solve the regional traffic congestion caused by railway barriers, and improve the urban road network structure of Sanyuan District, Sanming City. It will significantly enhance the traffic efficiency of vehicles and pedestrians in the area, and alleviate congestion on surrounding roads. In addition, the project will further upgrade municipal facilities along the Yingtan-Xiamen Railway, facilitate connectivity between urban areas, support the upgrading of local road transportation infrastructure, and provide a solid transportation foundation for the high-quality economic and social development of the region.
