Dafeng Port Railway Crossing Bridge Light Form Traveller Case

Description

Dafeng Port Railway Branch Line Package 3, No. 228 National Road Crossing Bridge, is located in Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province with a designed speed of 120 kilometers per hour for single track. This bridge spans over National Highway No. 228 and its main structure is a prestressed concrete continuous girder cross-section with an overall length of (34.8 + 56 + 34.8) meters. The bridge features a single-box, single-cell, variable height, and variable cross-sectional design. It adopts Boyoun's light cantilever form traveller for suspended casting construction.

In the construction of small bridges, diamond form travellers are often used as crucial equipment. Although they offer a high level of safety, their large weight increases the cost for clients. As a result, a new type of form traveller that is safe, lightweight, simpler, and more efficient, has become the preferred choice for constructing small bridges. Boyoun has continuously improved and upgraded its form traveller technology in response to market demand for lightweight form traveller, introducing a new design in late 2021. The latter has been effectively utilized in this package (32+48+32)m with a continuous beam and has reached closure smoothly.

Boyoun's new lightweight form traveller is specially designed for compact single-line bridges, offering the perks of sturdy structure, straightforward installation, effortless travel, and light weight.

Main Truss Structure

Weigh less and assemble faster

Revise the connection structure and reduce the number of pin shafts (by 50%), faster installation (it takes about an hour to assemble each diamond frame, and efficiency improves by 50%).

Moving System

Dual track, long rail structure for stable and convenient movement

The track features a dual-track extension design. The new method replaces the traditional method of moving forward through core jacks to use oil cylinders to push and advance the traveller step style, ensuring stable motion without interruptions, easier track dragging, and more efficient pushing and advancing motion.

Guide Beam System

It reduces weight and enhances resistance to deformation.

Considering the characteristics of small stress and large deformation of the bottom joists and guide beams during use, we chose a large size single I-girder (H-shaped steel) structure. This strategy enables both the bottom support system and the guide beam system to reduce their weight while simultaneously enhancing their resistance to deformation.

Anchoring System

Load-bearing Pole Beam

The pole beams are processed using No. 16 channel, which are smaller in size, reduce space interference, reduce the weight of the pole beams, and make manual handling more convenient.

Adjustable Pole Beam

An adjustable pole beam is added for sling adjustment, making the installation, removal and adjustment of the sling more convenient.

Travel Limit Device

Integrate a travel limit device that is synchronized with the walking system. Enables a consistent installation without the need to repeat the process each time. It serves as a reference point for the form traveler once they have moved forward.
