The Liuhe Mege Bridge of the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu High-speed Railway is located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. The main girder that spans the Chu River is a 91.75+210+91.75m steel-concrete hybrid continuous rigid frame. The 84m mid-span section of the main span is a steel box girder, while the remaining sections are prestressed concrete box girders. A steel-concrete joint structure is installed to connect the steel girder and the prestressed concrete box girder.
The beam body features a single-box, single-cell structure. The concrete section, steel-concrete composite section, and steel box girder section are all constructed by Boyoun form travelers for cantilever construction or integral hoisting.
Due to the large self-weight of the cantilever-cast segment concrete and steel box girder, the local structure of the form traveler has been reinforced and designed with higher-strength Q355 material to ensure the requirements for strength and rigidity.
The track adopts a long double-track lightweight design. Both the front sliding base and the buckle wheel are designed with rollers. Combined with long-stroke travel cylinders, the walking process is more efficient and stable. Meanwhile, the buckle wheel utilizes double-row roller reverse buckles and an additional anti-overturning system to enhance walking safety.
Upon completion of the cantilever-cast segment, the form traveler can be converted into a steel girder lifting system on-site. Cooperating with intelligent lifting jacks leads to high efficiency and safety. Furthermore, the crossbeam is designed with a dedicated jack support, equipped with an X and Y coordinate translation fine-tuning system, to ensure the installation accuracy of the steel girder.
Prior to departing the factory, the main components of the form traveler undergo assembly and static load preload test to avoid various potential hazards in subsequent processes.
To ensure the construction progress of the form traveler, Boyoun provides professional and continuous standardized services, including on-site guidance for key links such as form traveler assembly and walking, and conducts multiple safety inspections during the operation of the form traveler to ensure its safe and smooth construction.
As a key control project of the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu High-Speed Railway (Nanjing Section), the completion of the bridge will be of great significance in optimizing the high-speed railway network layout of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, strengthening Nanjing's role as a high-speed railway hub, and boosting the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta.
